JW-Jones Bluelisted

Smoky Mtn. Blues Society

Mark the calendar.  May 13th will be the release date for JW-Jones new CD entitled “Bluelisted.”  Put up some money for it now, and wait for the door to open.  His last CD “Kissing in 29 Days” is still being played at my house, and this one is just as good.  JW can play some mighty mean, clean guitar, and sings with his heart on his sleeve.  JW has played WITH The Fabulous, Thunderbirds, Junior Watson, Rick Holmstrom, Rod Piazza and others.  Those are credentials folks.  He’s only 27 years old, and is legendary in Canada.  As I check into this I find that Larry Taylor plays on bass, Richard Innes on drums, and for the first time ever Little Charlie Baty and Junior Watson play together on a few tracks.  There are 14 cuts on the CD with no slackers.  We have real blues here, with a real band, and it’s better than it should be.  I’m talking horn sections, low down harmonica, and B-3 with a Leslie system.  The whole package is here.  These guys are great, and JW just shines.  What a great job putting together such a field of fine musicians.  Here’s how to find them if it isn’t in the corner store.  Go to info@northernblues.com and look up JW-Jones.  Fact is pick up the other CD I mentioned.  They are that good.  Big band, full sound, all the parts, you deserve it.  Go ahead splurge.  Many thanks to JW.     Your friend......blue barry
